| This fantastic Italian villa apartment on the outskirts of Gualdo in Le Marche can accommodate up to eight people (Three double bedrooms, one twin and two bathrooms). It has spectacular views of the Sibillini mountains and is some five miles from Sarnano. |
|
Sarnano is a lovely hilltop town with a historic centre, great views, and lots of lively cafes and restaurants.
Le Marche is often referred to as "Italy's best kept secret" and as yet remains relatively undiscovered unlike Tuscany and Umbria.
The sea faced by Le Marche is the Adriatic sea. The coast at Porto St Giorgio is about forty minutes drive away from the villa. Porto St Giorgio is a favoured seaside port in Le Marche with fabulous shops, seafood restaurants and miles of beautiful white sand.
The Sibillini National Park in Le Marche offers spectacular views, fantastic walks, and unspoilt breathtaking scenery. In the summer the mountains make a perfect backdrop for walking, hiking or just taking a picnic.
In winter, Sassotetto - just a few miles away from Sarnano - is a popular ski resort ideally suited for beginners, both young and old. It may not be the kind of place where everyone changes into a new ski outfit every few hours, but there's loads of fun to be had for every level of skier.
In fact, Le Marche has everything you could wish for: sun, sea, good food and wine and complete relaxation. Something for everyone all year round.
