How to find us

By Air

We are situated between Pescara and Ancona airports. Ryan Air fly in to both and offer a daily service to Ancona and Pescara. Once at the airport you can pick up a hire car from Hertz or Avis and drive to us (your journey should take you 1.5 hours from Ancona and 2 hours from Pescara). If you wish to use Alitalia, you will need to change flights in Rome or Milan and on to Ancona, depending on your choice of airport in the UK. British Airways also fly to Rome and Bologna, and if you are driving from these airports it should take around 3 hours.

Directions from the Ancona airport

From Ancona look for the green motorway signs (A14) to Pescara. Join the motorway and head south towards Pescara. This is a toll motorway. You will pass two junctions, the first will be Ancona Sud the second Loreto.

After this you will arrive at a junction signposted to Civitinova and Macerata, come off here and pay your toll. This part should take about 30 minutes.

After the toll booth you will arrive at a roundabout, take the second exit which is a left turn. Travel for approx 1km and take the first turning on the right signposted for Macerata. This is now the SS77.

Stay on this road(SS77) until you see a sign for Sforzacosta/Sarnano. Come of at this junction and follow the SS78 in the direction of Sarnano.

At Passo St Angelo traffic lights, turn left signposted to St Angelo in Pontana and Gualdo.
(Please note that after going past the restaurant of Pippo and Gabriella which is on a large hairpin bend, at the top of that hill turn right for Gualdo).

As you approach Gualdo do not turn right into the town but take the sharp left bend to Penna St Giovanni. We are the first turning on the right (at the brown Commune di Gualdo (Zona Artiginale) sign).
